STL, OBJ and 3MF are file types that hold a 3D model. You usually get one from a model website or a design program, then send it to a 3D printer. Meshlens opens these files so you can look at them and check them before printing.

Tap Open file and pick a model, or choose Meshlens when you share a file from your Files or file manager app. You can also try a sample model from the home screen.

It counts open edges (gaps in the surface), tangled places, separate pieces and flat triangles, and checks which way the faces point. Tap the small i next to a word for a short explanation. Zero open edges and zero tangled places is a good sign, but only your printer software can say what will really print.

It is a calculation from the model volume, your material, infill, walls and line width. Real results depend on your printer and settings, so treat it as a guide. Meshlens does not estimate print time.

Meshlens opens files up to 200 MB and up to 3 million triangles. Larger models are shown with a message instead. Very large models may be drawn in a lighter copy.

The overhang map, best orientation, cross-section, ruler, compare and the PDF report, plus no ads and unlimited recent files. The 3D view, size, print check and filament estimate are free.

Open the Pro screen in Meshlens and tap Restore. Make sure you are signed in to the same Apple or Google account you used to buy. If it still does not work, email us.

On iPhone, open Settings, tap your name, then Subscriptions and choose Meshlens. On Android, open Google Play, tap your profile, then Payments and subscriptions, and choose Meshlens. Cancel at least 24 hours before renewal.

Your recent models and settings live only on your device. Uninstall the app to remove them. To ask about anonymous analytics or purchase data, email us.

The free version shows ads that keep it free. Meshlens Pro removes them. In some regions you will see a consent form first, and on iPhone a tracking prompt. You can say no to either.
